A Moment of the “Parranda” of Remedios. The “Parrandas” are a typical rural celebration with origins date back to the 19th century. They take place in northern and central cities of the former Las Villas province, in Cuba. The structure of the event is a traditional carnival-like street parties and includes both districts rumba, the plaza works (light and fireworks structures), the fireworks competition and float display. Most famous “Parranda” are celebrated in Remedios colonial city where these festivities were originated.
